Maybelline Black Beauty
BHM Bruch

Maybelline hosted the Black Beauty Brunch at Sisters Brooklyn, an intimate celebration of Black beauty and culture. Curated by celebrity makeup artist Jaleesa Jaikaran, the event highlighted creativity, self-expression, and community while honoring the legacy and influence of Black beauty across generations. The activation combined immersive décor, experiential elements, and curated beauty moments to create a warm, celebratory space for attendees to connect and engage.

As Design Lead, I directed the visual identity and execution of the experience, leading a team of designers to create printed graphics and fabricated installations. The event signage, tabletop branding and overall art direction of the space, was thoughtfully designed to reflect Maybelline’s commitment to inclusivity and Black beauty excellence, resulting in a cohesive, soft, and culturally resonant experience for all attendees.
